Today's the big day! Tim and I have a doctor's appointment at 9:20 this morning, then we'll check-in at the hospital and start working to get this baby born already! My mom arrived yesterday, so once we know where we'll be laboring, he'll leave me in our midwife's capable hands for a few minutes to pick Mom up and bring her to the hospital. Please keep your fingers crossed - today should be a long, but very exciting day.
Just to record for posterity (aka Pauline, and my scrapbook I suppose), we took some pictures last night of the enormous belly. Here are two favorites. (The "cross-hairs" on the black-and-white picture just show where the seam from my pants intersected with the line on my tummy. Almost, but not quite, a bull's eye to my belly button.) The side view really shows how big we've gotten:
