Pauline Elizabeth Stevens Klitz joined us in this existence at 4.01am Berlin time, Friday, March 27. She weighed in a 3.85 kilograms and is 21 inches long. After dealing with 18 hours of labor, Ruth Anne underwent a C-section to bring Pauline into this world. It was an incredibly long day; Mommy, Daddy, baby and Grandma Carol spent about 26 consecutive hours awake. We all finally got some rest last night. We will be in hospital for the next few days. Once we are back home, we will post pictures, call and email folks, etc.
In the meantime, here are some pictures of the new baby.

Oh, she is adorable!!!! I can't wait to get a chance to meet her in person, but these photos really help!
